It's no secret that whenever people say anything remotely critical about Lady Gaga, the pop singer will stay silent or whine to her fans how she's the victim, and the little monsters will take it upon themselves to bully said celebrity while she stays silent. It's happened to Boy George (where he was pegged with homophobic slurs after he made a joke on Twitter towards the singer a few years back -- they were friends at the time when he made the joke). Other celebs who have been bullied by Gaga's fans: Jack White, Calvin Harris, Die Antwoord Rihanna, and Madonna.
I'm not sure how this beef started, but I'm guessing it may have had something to do with the episode of Fashion Police two weeks ago when Kelly made a comment about Lady Gaga's outfits, which she said (I'm paraphrasing) "It was exciting in the beginning but now it's not that cute anymore." Kelly is a TV ersonality and when you are on TV, people expect you to give an honest opinion about how you feel, since it's your job. If you are looking for a bunch of kiss asses (something Kelly is not) then you are clearly barking up the wrong tree when it comes to a show like Fashion Police.
So after Gaga's fans called her fat (she hasn't been fat in years) and told her she should kill herself, Kelly spoke out online
"I get called fat all the time," she said, "a big fat whore."
"Lady Gaga's fans are the worst," she continued. "They've said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped. I mean it's crazy, but I've had this all my life and I just try and ignore it."
So instead of chastizing her fans for their vicious threats and online bullying (something she says she's against, BTW), Gaga wrote a condescending letter to Kelly which made her sound like a white version of Pastor Tara on The Sisterhood. Tara was not personally anointed by GOD to serve beside him in his kingdom, like Gaga wasn't anointed the queen of saving all the disadvantaged.

Anyways, Gaga wrote a long ass open letter to Kelly on her littlemonsters shitsite and when I finished reading the letter, it sounded like the most pretentious bullshit I've ever read in my entire life. She gave a half-assed apology on behalf of her fans, but immediately went into promoting her foundation. I posted some of her laughable letter below to give you an example.
"To see you blossoming into a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding. Why not help others? Why not defend others who are bullied for their image and share your story?"
Kelly was helping others. She was telling you that you stepping outside looking like the lost sister from grey Gardens is not the move anymore and you didn't like what you heard. The condescending and partonizing words towards Kelly made my eyes roll in the back of my head, especially when she tried to talk down to her like she's a child (FYI: Kelly is older than Gaga).
Well now Sharon Osbourne has come to the defense of her daughter, and takes Gaga to task for her hypocrisy: "I am responding to your open letter to my daughter Kelly, and I am perplexed as to why you would go public with an open letter," wrote Sharon, letting it be known that she took it upon herself to contact Gaga's management after hearing her daughter was being bullied by Gaga's fans.
"I reached out to him as Kelly's manager and mother to ask him if you could address your 'little monster' fans and stop them from writing libelous, slanderous and vile comments about my family, including death threats to Kelly."

Sharon also went in on Gaga for her condescending comments about Kelly, acting as if she has sympathy for her daughter's career choice: "How sweet that you have empathy for my daughter, as you feel that she has taken a less passionate path in life. You say her work on E! with the 'Fashion Police' is 'rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people's beauty against one another.' Welcome to the real world. When I see you wearing fur, and using it as a fashion statement, the fact that defenseless animals have been killed so you can get your picture in the press is abhorrent to me. Shouldn't you be teaching your 'little monster' fans to respect animals and life?"
For those of you with short-term memories, Gaga went on Ellen's talk show a few years back and spoke out against wearing fur, and even pleaded that she would never wear a dead animal out in public. Last year she was spotted in Europe wearing fur, which caused an uproar among animal rights groups.
She continued, "I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter. Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?"
"You say 'a kinder, braver world'," Sharon added. "I don't know what world you live in, but supporting disgraceful fan comments doesn't fall under the words 'kinder and braver.' It comes under the heading of bullshit."
Sharon said her daughter is a grown ass woman and that she doesn't feel the need to justify Kelly's life choices to Gaga. "By your actions to Kelly right now, you have shown me that you are nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker," she wrote.
She finished by saying, "In closing, stop wearing fur, stop looking for publicity, and stop using your fans to belittle not just Kelly but an endless stream of celebrities."
Gaga could have had her people get in contact with Kelly and they could have hashed this out woman to woman in private, but since Gaga allegedly has a new single coming out next month, she needed to get herself some attention. Her tour has not been selling out everywhere (ticket sales were a mess in Latin America), so I feel Gaga looked at Kelly as an easy target because she wouldn't dare go up against Joan Rivers.
Fashion Police is a show that talks about the best and worst in fashion, and since you clearly have a few screws loose, it may be hard for you to put this together in your coked-out brain, but Joan Rivers is a legendary comedianne. She has been doing stand up for over five decades. Her big schtick has always been to make fun of celebrities, and in this business of show, you're always going to be judged on how you look. That's why most celebrities have a team of stylists, make up and hair people in their entourage. Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna, for example, are well aware that everywhere they go they will be photographed, so they put a lot of thought in how they will look when they walk out their door. Sometimes their choices are a hit. Sometimes it's a miss. but at the end of the day you don't see them and countless others crying because they are being made fun of on TV. If you can't grow a thick skin, then you are in the wrong profession.

When you were simply Stephani Germanotta and not yet known as Lady Gaga, your label didn't look at you as a text book beauty in what they feel a pop star should look like (for some of you research phobics, check old video footage of Gaga as a singer who was more Paula Cole than Madonna before she became famous), so they had you lose alot of weight, dress in these cuckoo crazy costumes and cover your face in masks and giant fascinators. Because you were so desperate to make it as a pop star, you went along with what you had to in order to become famous. It was cute and different in the beginning with all the different props and wacky outfits, but then it became a turn-off to most when people started noticing your aesthetic started to take from Madonna, Grace Jones, Roisin Murphy, and Isabella Blow, to name a few, most became decensitized by your look than excited. You are starting to show true shades of who you were before you became famous - a typical spoiled, whiny little rich bitch from the Upper East Side who wants us to all believe she was bullied in a school full of rich kids (she went to school with Paris and Nicky Hilton) just so you can garner sympathy from those who were actually bullied in school or wherever you are in the world.
Kelly has ben through a lot in her life, from her battle with drugs and her weight, but she has gotten sober and has lost over 50 pounds thanks to her stint on Dancing With The Stars. But what I hope Gaga has learned from all of this is that you don't fuck with Sharon Osbourne. She is rock royalty, and Gaga's fans don't want it from the metal kids. While Gaga's fans like to sit at their computers and bully people because they feel they are protected by their keyboard, metal heads own guns. I would advise Gaga or any other celebrity to handle their drama in private and stop trying to bring your fans into your drama, because at the end of the day while your fans are getting riled up because they think you are doing you a favor, Gaga and Kelly are still going back to their gated homes and making their millions from their professions.
