NEVE CAMPBELL DOESN'T THINK SCREAM 5 WILL HAPPEN

Although Scream 4 had it's flaws in regards of script, I at least hoped that it would have done much better financially at the box office (it grossed $97 million worldwide off a $40 million budget). While Wes Craven saidb ack in September that he believes there will be another Scream movie in the future, it looks like it's highly unlikely it will happen.

Collider recently sat down with Neve Campbell, who stars in the Lifetime original movie An Amish Murder (which also stars her brother Christian) and they asked her if she would consider reprising her role as heroine Sidney Prescott: "We’ll see. I’m not sure they’re going to make it, to be honest. If that were to come up again and they were to approach me, I’d have a chat with them about it."

If they decide to make another Scream film, they would have to seriously come up with a clever concept to make it work in today's era of horror. If the film never gets made, at least we still have the alleged TV series MTV is looking to develop. My idea is that if they want Scream The Series to make it, they will have to take the American Horror Story approach and recast new kids every season.
