Shia Labeouf may have decided he would rather channel his inner-Brando than scream and run for two and a half hours in another shitty Michael Bay Transformers movie, but like they say in Hollywood everyone can be replaced.
Bay has revealed that although Mark Wahlberg has signed on to the sequel, newcomer Jack Reynor will fill Shia's shoes.
I loved the first Transformers but when that movie made a shitload of money the sequels got ridiculous. The robots came off as stereotypical black people for comedic effect, and the misogynistic and homophobic jokes were tacky and cheesy. It's time for another person to reboot this franchise and give us a real Transformer movie that us fans who grew up watching the cartoon and playing with the action figures truly deserve.
