Last night Mariah Carey sat down for an interview with Barbara Walters on Nightline, and the ladies chatted about the drama on American Idol, and Mimi's feud with Trashi Garbaj.
Among the questions asked, Barbara asked Mimi if she is making $18 million or somewhere in the ballpark of the alleged price, her relationship with hubby Nick Cannon, raising their twins, and Nicki writing a diss track called towards Mariah which has the lyrics: "...I'm quick to check a bitch if she outta line / Shout out Mike, Darnell, and Nigel / Why these bums so mad that the queen on idol?". It was revealed that the ladies have kissed and made up, but I did catch Mimi pull out a book and craftily read Nicki from cover to cover when Barbara asked her "is she the bitch Nicki is singing about", to which Mimi responded: "I didn't know she sang. I thought she rapped, or whatever."
Although I am rerally hoping this overworn series would soon sashay away, for those few of you left who still give a shit about this show, the new season of American Idol premieres Wednesday, January 16 & Thursday, January 17 at 8/7c on FOX.
