I personally had no idea she was still in the closet. Anyways, As I stated in my previous blog post, there were alot of surprises and well-deserved wins last night at the Golden Globes, and once Robert Downey Jr. (who irritated me with his forceful will to be funny) was done presenting Jodie Foster with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, I don't think anyone had an idea what was coming next.
It's no secret that Foster, 50, has always been very private when it comes to her life outside of the public eye, but after years of rumors regarding to her sexuality, the legendary actress revealed to the room and the rest of the world that she is in fact a lesbian. With Matt Dallas and now Jodie Foster being the first two actors this year to come out on their own terms, it looks like 2013 is going to be an interesting year with hopefully more celebrities feeling comfortable enough to be who they are and not worry about the vultures in the tabloid media trying to swoop down all up in their business.
P.S. I guess it really is serious when J. Lo (who looked like she should have been in the U.K. competing on Skating With The Stars) brings Casper Smart to an A-list event like the Golden Globes and who the hell let Mel Gibson in the building?
