HORROR FILM MAMA NABS THE #1 SPOT




The supernatural horror film Mama, which has been getting rave reviews snagged the #1 spot at the box office this weekend, raking in an estimated $ 28.1 million. This is the second horror film in January to take the #1 spot, with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D bringing in $25.6 million it's opening weekend.


Mama tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their mother was murdered. When they are rescued years later and begin a new life, they find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night.
