Fantasia may have come under fire for throwing weed legalization and gay marriage under the bus to justify getting knocked up by a married man, but don't think that's going to stop her from reviving her music career. A few weeks ago she released a new single called Lose To Win, and the singer recently revealed in an interview with Steve Harvey that her third album, titled, The Side Effects of You will be out on March 13.
While most artists would have a laundry list of collaborators and producers on their album to guarantee themselves a hit, Fanny opted to work with only one producer, Harmony, and says that the album will have more of a rock-soul sound, a-la Tina Turner and James Brown.
“It’s my baby ’cause I finally got to write,” said Tasia. “I just wanted so bad to do something like that and I thank the record company, RCA, for allowing me to finally be able to do that on this album.”
While I am a bit irritated by the Instagram comment she made in regards to gay marriage, as a music fan I am curious to hear what the music sounds like.
