Last month was the eighth annual Out Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada and now the nominations have been announced for the 2013 Black Gay Music Awards. Not only does the list nominate some of your favorite out musicians, but also your favorite personalities, LGBT-themed reality programs or series and porn stars. Since black gay artists barely get nominated for their contributions to the entertainment industry (underground or otherwise), anything that can show out artists of color in a positive light is always a good thing in my book. The Black Gay Music Awards is produced by Scandocious J.r. No word on when the awards will be given out but I will keep you posted.
