For those of you who may not know I have a fond obsession with the synthy sexy sounds of Parralox, a duo who have been releasing hot dance tunes for quite sometime. Supermagic and I Sing The Body Electric are two of my favorite songs and music videos since I first laid eyes on it over a year ago. Singer Amii Jackson reminds me of a sexier Alison Goldfrapp with the dark ferociousness of The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson and I live for John von Ahlen's sexy beats. I can't wait to hear more music from them in the near future.
Parralox's upcoming single Sharper Than A Knife will be out on November 20. Get to know more about Parralox by watching a collage of their songs and videos and for as a bonus I added the Supermagic video.
So that explains why Kim Zolciak's crooked Duane Reade wigs look a hot mess whenever I see her on TV. Rumors have been spreading all over the internet (from Sandra Rose) that Atlanta cosmetologists and walking gay stereotypes on Real Housewives of Atlanta reality stars Miss Lawrence and Derek J are not licensed.
Via Sandra Rose:
According to my reader who asked to remain anonymous, neither Derek J nor Lawrence are licensed to practice cosmetology in the state of Georgia. In fact, Lawrence’s cosmetology license was suspended last year after he applied for a license reinstatement — and the board leaned that he had been styling hair in Georgia for years on an expired license.
The board suspended Lawrence’s license for 2 years in accordance with a consent agreement that Lawrence signed last year. That means he cannot style hair in Georgia until his suspension is lifted in 2013.
On the other hand, Derek J has never held a cosmetology license to practice in Georgia. Derek does have a valid license in another state, which is not valid here in Georgia.
Derek said to Straight From The A that he is a licensed cosmetologist but in another state. He has applied for an application back in April. Derek, who considers himself a "traveling stylist" doesn't just do hair in Atlanta. He has been traveling all over the world.doing hair for his celebrity clientele.
So yes there is some truth to Derek not having a license in Georgia but he does have a license to be a professional cosmetologist. I say doing hair for celebrities is better for him because if he had to have a license for every state he traveled to he would never make any money. he'd be in school for the rest of his life.
As for Miss Lawrence, he cannot practice doing hair until March 31, 2014 after some complaints from his clients due to some of their hair damage. If you saw the Hairstylists Tell All episode of the Atlanta Housewives this past Sunday then you know that he and one of his well-known clients Sheree Whitfield had a falling out.
“I will always be Sheree’s friend. Now, whether she wants to be mine or not, I don’t have nothing to do with that, but me, I will always be Sheree’s friend,” said Lawrence, responding to gossip that he and Sheree are on the outs.
While he didn't really divulge on the reasoning behind the fallin out, I'm hearing it had something to do with her hair started thinning and falling out under his care. Miss Lawrence has yet to respond to this story. So I guess the only way he'll be making his coins is if he shacks up with someone rich, gets to have more of a presence on the ATL Housewives season 5, or tries to forge another music career, since his single Closet Freak went nowhere. All I will say is that if you don't have the proper credentials to do my hair, I'm not letting your hands nowhere near it. I don't care who the fuck you are and who you roll with.

Here some major Hollywood news that's sure to get some people excited and some a little nervous. Disney has announced that they have acquired the rights to LucasFilm for a whopping $4 billion. Disney also revealed that a new Star Wars trilogy is in the works, with episode 7 coming out in 2015 with episodes 8 and 9 coming out in 2016 and 2017. george Lucas will not write or direct the trilogy. This is following major news of Disney purchasing Pixar and Marvel Entertainment.
"Lucasfilm reflects the extraordinary passion, vision, and storytelling of its founder, George Lucas," said Robert A. Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company. "This transaction combines a world-class portfolio of content including Star Wars, one of the greatest family entertainment franchises of all time, with Disney's unique and unparalleled creativity across multiple platforms, businesses, and markets to generate sustained growth and drive significant long-term value."
Listen to LucasFilm founder George Lucas talking about the big changes ahead below...
They were also asked if there will be any Indiana Jones sequels in the works as well, but Disney said they want to concentrate on Star Wars for now. I don't think we'll be seeing Mickey Mouse traveling to Tatooine any time soon, but I have a feeling we might see Han Solo or some of your faves from the franchise make an appearance or three on Once Upon A Time. since they are planning to make a Star Wars Episode 7 I at least hope it makes sense to make one, since my favorite Star Wars movies were episodes 4-6. I know some are nervous because of the whole Disney brand, but Disney is great at making awesome visual masterpieces. Tron legacy wasn't a great movie by any means but it was visually stunning and had the potential to be great. I just hope since all of George Lucas' classic films are moving to a new home that Disney will do the franchise justice. Now all I want to know is when is the new season of Clone Wars coming back?
Since Mission: Impossible 4 was in my opinion the best film in the franchise and helped revive Tom Cruise's career as an action star, it shouldn't be a shocker that there is a fifth installment in the works, right?
While promoting his upcoming December film Jack Reacher, he revealed to Total Film that he and his team are looking to bring Ethan Hunt back for another movie.
“We’re already working on different images," says Cruise of a fifth Mission: Impossible film. "Talking conceptually. I love traveling around promoting different movies because I’m always looking at different places, and I always walk around to see the city. I look at architecture, subways... coming up with different sequences.”
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, which came out in December 2011 has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide. If the audience stays strong for another sequel, Cruise thinks that the series could go on indefinitely.
"I’ll make as many as people want to see," he says. "because they’re very challenging and so much fun to make.”
In addition to his role as Jack Reacher and the Mission Impossible scoop, Tom is also in talks to replace Hugh Jackman as Van Helsing in an upcoming reboot. I actually like the Mission: Impossible movies and if Tom brings back Paula Patton, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames (the latter who was in all the films and showed up in the last five minutes of Ghost Protocol), then I am there opening night.
After giving us an academy-award-winning performance in the gem that was Burlesque, Xtina says she wants to become a serious actress and play a junkie in a movie.
Says Xtina: "I do want to do more acting. I want to do something where I can really sink my teeth into something a little more challenging. Really outside of myself, outside of music.
I sort of had this personal aspiration to do film, but I said, ‘I never want to do a musical! It’s too much like myself.
I want it to be honest and genuine in expanding my wings and doing something really, really different. A crackhead on the street or a drug addict. Or something crazy and meaty and juicy. Something that really took me out of myself."
Sorry but never in my life have I ever seen a fat drug addict so she most certainly will have to see about three nutritionists and hit the gym hard if she wants to be in a Lee Daniels movie.
Since Macy Gray hasn't had a hit album since releasing On How Life Is back in the late 90's, who knew she was still releasing new music? Instead of making music of her own, Macy has opted to cover all the songs from Stevie Wonder's classic 1972 album just in time for it's 40th anniversary. While her singing voice is about as tolerable as watching five minutes of one of those Kuntrashian shows, it's pretty ballsy for Macy to cover the songs of a legend.
Check out the track list below...
1. You Are The Sunshine Of My Life
2. Maybe Your Baby
3. You And I (We Can Conquer The World)
4. Tuesday Heartbreak
5. You’ve Got It Bad Girl
7. Big Brother
8. Blame It On The Sun
9. Lookin’ For Another Pure Love
10. I Believe (When I Fall In Love It Will Be Forever)
Kerli has followed up her hot but underappreciated electro industrial track Zero Gravity with a brand new dance track called The Lucky Ones that's sure to get the party started. Yes the track and the amounts of BPM's on this EDM track is keeping the track quite busy, but the song is quite catchy and will definitely get the kids in Jersey and Long Island back to fist pumping (as soon as they can clean up the damage left by hurricane Sandy).
Due to the fact that we had a nasty storm that ripped through New York and most of the tri-state area yesterday, and we have no word on when NBC will re-air the full Madonna interview on Ellen, more clips from the show have been leaking online. In the latest clip Ellen asks Madonna her opinion on the latest crop of dime store divas, including a certain singer Madonna has been ripping into on her current MDNA tour.
Hours before hurricane Sandy whipped through New York like a bitchy bat out of hell, another hurricane came through in the form of the legendary Grace Jones. The pop music and fashion icon stopped by Roseland on Sunday to give her fans some of her greatest hits of the 80's as well as some cuts off her excellent 2008 album Hurricane (which was re-released last year in the U.S. with a dubbed version attached). Grace bantered with the audience between songs and even read the crew for not having the lighting to her liking. Grace also reminded folks why she is still a legend for almost three decades and why the dime store divas of today will never have her fierceness.
Check out her performances of Nightclubbing, This Is, Slave to the Rhythm, Feel Up, Private Life, La Vie en Rose and Pull Up to the Bumper below...
Not only does this heifer like to stalk her abusive ex boyfriends and try so desperately to play up her rock star bad girl image, she clearly thinks the economy is back to where it was during the Clinton administration, because she's charging a shitload of money for her next album.
For the record RiRi has lots of singles that have been huge and have gone to number one, but out of the seven years that she has been around to release a new album, she has never had a number one album. So now her team has come up with an idea when her album Unapologetic is released next month. The album will come in two versions - A Diamonds Executive box and a Diamonds Executive Platinum one. The platinum version will go for a whopping $250.

RiRi has definitely learned how to work the gimmicks to her advantage, but I have a hard time coming around to putting this much money out for someone who doesn't really take the time to put an album together. She releases new music every year and the dust hasn't even started collecting on her 2011 album Talk That Talk, which had three good songs and the rest sounded like scraped together songs she left on the cutting-room floor from previous albums. While I do like her music, I need to hear more from Unapologetic before I can even condiser buying the standard edition.
If VH1 was opting to revive their Celebrity Rehab series, now would be the time because I have two people who they should consider getting in their facility. Bobby Brown is one, and now it's being reported that Nadya Suleman has checked herself into rehab.
Nadya has admitted she has a prescription pill problem, and has left her 14 children in the care of nannies.
Suleman is currently staying at Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in California in order to deal with her addiction to the anti-anxiety drug Xanax.
Other names that should be considered to add to the show: Lindsay and Dina Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Tanning Mom and Honey Boo Boo. Someone's gotta get Alana off the go go juice.
DJ Calvin Harris, who has given us huge hits from the likes of Rihanna, Florence Welch, Kelis and Cheryl Cole has some not-so nice things to say about Lady Gaga. Only this time the singer, who often ignores people's disgust of her entire existance has decided to fight back.
Harris, who released his new album 18 Months today stopped by “BBC Breakfast,” and was asked his thoughts about Lady Gaga. He saud he turned down working with Gaga because he was too busy and “didn’t really like the songs.”
So after hearing what Calvin said about her, she fired off a series of tweets to Twitter “Seems to be trendy lately to talk sh*t about ‘lady gaga’ when your albums/singles drop,” she wrote on Monday. “Y’al should live off your own hustle. #Ido.”
She continued, “Never even emailed you @calvinharris I guess it’s hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I’m a woman I don’t know about EDM [electronic dance music] right?”
And since we all know that Caca has her "little monsters" so brainwashed that they will sit behind their computers and fire off a bunch of idle threats like the pussies they are, Harris soon apologized to the singer.
“LadyGaga no your label emailed me,” he explained. “I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologize if I offend u, wasn’t the intention.”
He added, “Jeez you turn down one remix in 2008 and next thing the whole world’s on your back.”
Gaga saw his message and replied, “Thanks for the apology & explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers.”
Seriously Caca you need to get the fuck over yourself. What irritates me about this pretentious bitch is that she wants everyone to believe she is all about EDM. Bitch we've heard your earlier music and you were more Paula Cole than Madonna. Yes Gaga has a passable voice and writes her own music, but are we really supposed to believe she comes up with those dime store beats she uses? RedOne put your ass on the map, so to take claim of his and other producer's production is insulting. Also to play the woman card is an insult to women who are actually discriminated against.
I also guess living off your own hustle is stealing visual and musical ideas from Madonna, Bette Midler, Grace Jones, Roisin Murphy, Kylie Minogue, and other music and fashion icons too long to mention in this post. And let's also point out the reality that as long as Lady Gaga is tied to a major label she is not in control of her career. Once you sign your name in blood to a major, you do not own your publishing, or make the decisions in regards to the music you will put out. You can fool your fans all you like but girl please you are about as real as the man behind the curtain who pretended to be the great and powerful Oz.

Okay I am fucking done! After many fans let it be known their anger over producers choosing a lighter-skinned latina actress to play jazz legend Nina Simone, the first photo has emerged of Zoe Saldana over the weekend with a prosthetic nose, buck teeth and darker skin. Even Nina's own daughter Simone disapproved of the casting choice a few months back.
Here's what Simone told Ebony Magazine about writer/director Cynthia Mort casting Zoe Saldana to play her mother:
I love Zoe Saldana’s work. I’ve seen some of her movies more than once and really enjoy what she brings to the screen. As an actress I respect her process, but I also know that there are many actresses out there, known or not, who would be great as my mother. The one actress that I’ve had in my heart for a very long time, whose work I’m familiar with already, is Kimberly Elise. Many people have spoken to me about Viola. I love her look. I love her energy. Both of the actresses that I’ve mentioned are women of color, are women with beautiful, luscious lips and wide noses, and who know their craft. I also have no problem introducing someone we’ve never heard of before who can play my mother.
Somewhere in the world, Simone just threw a side-eye at this picture so hard her eyes are probably stuck on the other side of her head. Instead of paying thousands on prosthetics and make up, all they had to do is hire an actual dark-skinned actress to play the role like Viola Davis or as previously mentioned Kimberly Elise. Then again, we know the unspoken issue with light vs. dark skin in Hollywood.
In a cryptic message (in the form of his hometown baseball cap with a backwards "E" logo on it) rapper Eminem has announced that he will be dropping the follow up to his 2010 album Recovery sometime next year.
Eminem has announced his 2013 return to the game via a Detroit Tigers-inspired cap on his website. Em’s online shop is selling a snapback featuring a backwards E on the front, with a list of years on the side “dedicated to the landmark Eminem solo albums.” And not only does that panel include the year 1996 for his largely ignored debut album Infinite, but it also lists 2013. Which means Shady’s follow-up to 2010′s Recovery is on the way.
Recovery was a return to form which earned him two Grammys and a chart-topping single, and in 2011 he released the gritty and excellent album Hell: The Sequel with Royce Da 5’9” under their moniker Bad Meets Evil. I'm excited for the new album and I hope that the new record will combine the grittiness of Recovery with the hilarious gems we got from his debut album, The Marshall Mathers LP.
Speaking of Madonna in a previous post, over the weekend Madonna was booed at her own concert in New Orleans after encouraging her fans to vote for Obama in next week's primary election.
Here's what she told her fans on Saturday during a break between songs: "I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama," she said, drawing boos and causing some fans to walk out. "Seriously, I don't care who you vote for... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote."
While I love the fact when celebrities put their fame and face behind political issues if you go on political programs like Rachel Maddow, Cenk Uygur or Bill Maher, I don't think a concert is the place for it. I don't think it's the place for a performer to be telling people who they should vote for or that they need to believe or get involved with what your interests are. As someone who pays a lot of attention to the current political climate I don't need to be preached to about what's going on in the world, especially when so many of us are in a state of paranoia. It just puts you on this pompous high horse and makes you desperate for attention. On the other hand if her so-called fans were paying attention to all the media attention surrounding her current tour they would know that before she performs "Masterpiece" she always takes a moment to give them a history lesson. Personally I say leave the politics to the professionals and focus on giving your fans a good show.
While we on the east coast had to miss Madonna's exclusive hour long interview on Ellen today (due to the fact that we are in the middle of a nasty hurricane), a few clips from the show have leaked online.
A few of the topics they talked about was that back in 1997 when rumors began to circulate through Hollywood that Ellen was coming out as a lesbian, Madonna, who had never met Ellen at the time called her up and offered her some words of encouragement. Madonna also came out on stage with a mask that she would use to cover her face whenever she didn't want to ask difficult questions and in alother clip (which I posted last week), Madonna sends her son Rocco to the dunk tank.
Check out all three clips below, and when the full episode winds up online I will definitely post it.
We're only two months into the current daytime talk show season and we've already got our first casualty. After two seasons of lackluster ratings and a new studio change, TV Guide is reporting that Fox will not renew Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show for a third season.
Besides a new studio change, the new season featured a different co-host to join Anderson in a hot topics segment, celebrity as well as real life interviews. I guess his officially coming out as a gay man to the public didn't help ratings as some had predicted as well.
"We are extremely proud of Anderson and the show that he and the entire production team have produced," Warner Brothers said in a statement Monday. "While we made significant changes to the format, set and produced it live in its second season, the series will not be coming back for a third season in a marketplace that has become increasingly difficult to break through."
I actually liked Anderson Live and thought after he came out he seemed more relaxed, funny and engaging with his audience. I also don't think out of the other shows this season his was not the worst. So now that Anderson Live is heading to the daytime graveyard, Ricki Lake, Jeff Probst, Maury Povich, Jeremy Kyle and Steve Harvey need to follow suit.
Hip hop has decided to take a break from the beef world and now it looks like it's the clash of the irrelevant pop rockers.
The drama all started when Avril Lavigne's ex husband rock singer Deryck Whibley and his friend Ari Cooper went to a Halloween party over the weekend dressed as his ex wife and her current fiance Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger.
After the pic was posted on Twitter, Chad responded on his page with the following:
Hey Deryck love the costumes! we were going to dress up as you this year but all the parties had celebrity themes haha! - CK
Funny Chad says this because I don't know anybody in the U.S. that still listens to Avril Lavigne and Nickelback. Also is it just me or does Deryck look more like Kim D. from the Real Housewives of NJ than his ex-wife.
It looks like after a boring second season, Shaunie O' Neal has heard our cries in the form of dwindling ratings and has opted to clean house. TMZ is reporting that Gloria and her sister Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo and Brooke Bailey have all been fired from Basketball Wives LA. The straw that broke the camel's back was when Laura, who was also filming a comic book web series snuck off to Vegas to basketball player Matt Barnes and didn't tell producers about it. Since we had to settle for Jackie's ratchet wedding renewal homage to the gay community (a community that can't even get married in California, no less), BWLA producers felt disrespected by her treachery and have decided to clean house. They are keeping two of the six cast members - Draya Michele and Jackie Christie, six ladies (I'm counting Jackie's four other personalities) who were working hard to keep the currently running season interesting.
I also have to say after watching the trailer for the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shaunie should be worried about the future of her franchise, since there's no one bringing it like the ladies of ATL.

Some sad news today. Natina Reed who was part of the R&B trio Blaque has passed away at 32 years old. According to reports, she was struck by a car in Atlanta while crossing the street and the assailant took off without stopping or calling for help. What's worse is that her birthday is tomorrow and she is survived by her 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, with rapper Kurupt.
The group was discovered in the late 90's by late TLC rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and the trio went on to have a hit single 808 among others. She as well as the other two members were also in the hit 2000 movie Bring It On.
Here's what Blaque member Brandi Williams had to say in a heartfelt message: "Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same....she was my sister."
"Man. in eerie Left Eye fashion....rip to Blaque's Natina Reed," the Roots' ?uestlove tweeted, along with the video for Blaque's "808."
"Bring It On" co-star Grabielle Union kept it simple, writing, "#RIP #Sad #BringItOn." Others, like producer Isaac Hayes III, shared his grief through photos, posting a picture of the star on Instagram with a caption that read: "R.I.P. Natina Reed of the Group Blaque. Killed by a Hit & Run last night. So sad."
Rumors were also circulating that the ladies were back in the studio working on a new Blaque album. R.I.P. Natina and may your killer be brought to justice where he/she belongs.

Co-director Lana Wachowski (The Matrix Trilogy, Cloud Atlas) received the HRC’s Visibility Award at their annual gala dinner on October 20 and she gave a heartfelt speech about what it was like for her growing up transgender and at one point even contemplated suicide.
“I am here because when I was young, I wanted very badly to be a writer, I wanted to be a filmmaker, but I couldn’t find anyone like me in the world and it felt like my dreams were foreclosed simply because my gender was less typical than others. If I can be that person for someone else, then the sacrifice of my private civic life may have value. I know I am also here because of the strength and courage and love that I am blessed to receive from my wife, my family and my friends. And in this way I hope to offer their love in the form of my materiality to a project like this one started by the HRC, so that this world that we imagine in this room might be used to gain access to other rooms, to other worlds previously unimaginable.”
Since Lana is the only mainstream transsexual director in cinematic history, I hope her courage will give others a chance to try and forge a career in Hollywood as well or wherever genre of work they plan to dive into.
Check out the full video below...
I heard about this episode while watching Chelsea Lately earlier this week, so of course I had to do some research on it more. VH1 has this show called I'm Married To A... where people talk about their bizarre relationships. In this particular episode which peaked my interest, producers sat down with Reese Rideout who is married to a woman but makes a living making gay porn films.
In the clip he talks about how he got into the porn business, but says he's not gay. When I look at his wife not only does she look uncomfortable, but she also looks bulimic and doesn't have all the screws together in her head. In my opinion I believe Reese is bisexual and uses the straight boy cloak and making more money making gay movies than if he makes straight porn films to justify his desires for men. I understand porn is a business and all, but I'm quite sick of straight boys with their mental bullshit taking thousands of dollars from the industry but pretending they don't actually get turned on having sedx with men, because there's no way in hell any amount of money will have a straight guy sleeping with men.
Since the clip is not embeddable, You can watch the clip over at The Sword's website,
After conquering most of the world with his Gangnam Style revolution, Psy crossed over to American shores to perform the global hit live on The View yesterday. Yes it's a novelty hit, but everytime I see Psy break out do the Gangnam Style dance I can't help but laugh. He even taught Joy Behar (who never dances on the show) and Sherri Shepherd how to do the choreography
After dropping three mediocre solo albums, will.i.am is still trying to make Cheryl Cole happen. Her first attempt to conquer America was short-lived when she was fired from the first season of The X Factor after filming two episodes. She went on to release a new album that only had one minor hit, the Calvin Harris-produced Call My Name, she's releasing a new calendar for 2013 (see pic above), and she's rauniting and heading out on tour with the ladies of Girls Aloud next year to promote their final record, the Greatest Hits album Ten.
Now comes word that Will wants to push some American success upon Cheryl by having her take more of an urban approach to her fourth album. Now word on what popular producers he will have Cheryl work with, but so far he's recruited Snoop Dogg (who will jump on anyone's track these days) for the project.
“I will work with Cheryl, that is for sure,” Snoop told the Daily Star. “It’s going to happen. Hip-hop sells in America and that is the direction her manager will.i.am wants to take her.”
“I have already talked with him about collaborating with her on her next album and I am down with it. He’s got some big names planned for her and is talking with Eminem as well. It’s going to get real big for Cheryl.”
If Cheryl wants to break into the American market, since she is a horrible singer live (see the Stand Up To Cancer video I posted a few days ago below to see what I mean), she needs to take the Britney Spears/Rihanna approach to her music and buy some of the hottest tracks out there but lip sync for her life everytime she gets on stage. A few high profile names she needs to hook up with are Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Calvin Harris (again), Rico Love, Danja, Bangladesh, Pharrell, Frank Ocean and Timbaland. Have your team of people also look for any up and coming urban producers who have a different sound you can make your own.
Please do not let will.i.am produce any beats for you. All the songs you have worked on with him in the pass are hideous and he can't even produce any hot shit for himself. If this album does not bring a mismash of hot urban tracks with some international dance tracks, then I think it might be best if you renegotiate your contract with the ladies of Girls Aloud and you all stay together, because besides the few crossover singles Cheryl has released all of them have failed to have the breakout success they so desperately want.
If you ever come to NYC, Le Boy Bar hands-down has some of the best go go dancers because not only do I have a weakness for latin men (since I have some latin blood in my veins), but most of them have body, face, ass and dick for days.
While the song is most certainly catchy as hell, the same can't be said about the atrocious lyrics. At least if Amsterdam pop star Tao Hypah is trying to play the role of the woman and snatch Adam Lambert's style, the least you could do is come all the way out of the closet. I do think the song does have the potential to get him some success, and the chorus stays in your head, but he needs to work with someone like say Dr. Luke or some hot producers from Sweden if he wants to cross American shores.
Say what you want about Beyonce's less famous sister Solange, but one thing I will say about her that triumphs over her sisters legacy is that Solange is a risk taker when it comes to her music.
After releasing her recent single Losing You, she has revealed the track listing for a seven-track EP called True and even previewed some of the tracks in New York recently. The EP, which was produced by Blood Orange‘s Dev Hynes (Sky Ferreira) and Ariel Rechtshaid, will be available to digital retailers on November 27. Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams is still one of my favorite albums, and while Bey has a knack for making mainstream hits, she could learn a thing or three from her sister in regards of substance in her music.
Solange — True Track List
1. Losing You
2. Some Things Never Seem to Fucking Work
3. Locked in Closets
4. Lovers in the Parking Lot
5. Don’t Let Me Down
6. Look Good With Trouble
7. Bad Girls
Global Warming will be soon upon us as tropical storm Mr. Worldwide will be blowing into a town near you to promote his upcoming album. In the meantime, he has unleashed the music video for his new track Don't Stop The Party which features TJR. It features the usual shit you would expect from Pitbull - the rapper spewing some shit that makes no sense lyrically over a dance beat while surrounded by women in an exotic location, this time the setting is on a yacht. A bonus for moi is that we do get to see Pitbull shirtless.
Global Warming, which will feature Chris Brown, Shakira, Christina Aguilera and more will be in stores on November 19.
