2012 may have been a rollercoaster year in regards to crazy ass white flks going around shooting up movie theaters and schools (among other things), but one of the positive things that has come out of this year is the fact that it was a good time for gays coming out. This year we had Anderson Cooper publicly come out in an email, Andrew Rannels before the series premiere of The New Normal, filmmaker Lana Wachowski came out as transgender when promotion was to start for the movie Cloud Atlas, former NFL star Wade Davis, came out, and that's just to name a few. So much has changed in regards to LGBT people in media since the early days of Ellen Degeneres paving the way, and I must say the more people in media or any form of public office who makes it okay to be who they are, the better our world will be.
