TAMAR BRAXTON TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN FEBRUARY

After the surprise success of Love And War, singer and reality star Tamar Braxton is set to finally release her sophomore album in early 2013.

During an interview at Power 99’s “Rise & Grind Morning Show,” Tamar’s husband and manager Vince Herbert revealed that he will release her album on February 12 via Streamline Records.

For those who don't know, the Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince star's single shot past Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift on the iTunes chart 24 hours after its release.

Love and War marks the follow-up to the 35-year-old singer’s 2000 debut Tamar, which was released through Dreamworks/RedZone.

I'm glad Tamar's album will finally see the light of day (do you think another tweet from Lady Gaga will help her album go to #1 on iTunes?), but what I'm hoping is that her other song Hot Sugar will be the next single released before the album officially drops.

Check out her Love And War performance on Wendy Williams, and her other track Hot Sugar below...
