They weren't lying when they said the more money and fame you get in the world, the more people will come out of the woodwork trying to take what you've worked so hard for.
Frank Ocean unfortunately had to learn that recently when he discovered his father is threatening to sue him for $1 million.
Ocean, who is usually quiet when it comes to his personal life took to Twitter to air out his frustrations:
“father wanna sue me for a million. like i owe him back child support. weak individual bought me a swiss knife at 6yrs old then dipped on me.” Frank later deleted the Tweet.
Frank also has a song on his new album nostalgia, ULTRA.called There Will be Tears where he addresses his father being absent from his life.
“i got his DNA though, maybe I inherited some of his karma too,” quipped the 6-time Grammy nominee.
Even his Odd Future buddy Tyler, The Creator jumped on Twitter to read Frank's father the riot act:
“PLAY HIM INGLORIOUS AND TELL HIM I SAID HE’S A F WORD.”
There is no word as to exactly why Frank's father is suing him, but inquiring minds want to know. It always ceases to amaze me when deadbeats (like Gabby Douglas' father at the Olympics or Justin Bieber's father) wait until their kids become famous to all the sudden want to come out of the woodwork and act like because they gave birth to you that it was your side the talent came from and because your kid made something of yourself they deserve a cut of your earnings. I'm sure Frank's father has no kind of merit as to filing any kind of financial lawsuit and will get his bullshit case thrown out of court.
