CARMEN ELECTRA PERFORMS I LIKE IT LOUD ON WENDY WILLIAMS

On Friday past, Carmen Electra stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to perform her new single I Like It Loud (which she also performed that same night at a NYC gay nightclub) and sat on the couch for some talk. I didn't know what to really make of her performance (it wasn't terrible but it wasn't memorable either) except for that she seems to be channeling that Ke$ha/Luciana/Azealia Banks style of dance/pop, which I do love. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same thing about the song. While it does the job of being that energetic electro track for you to work out with at the gym, to me it's not memorable. It will get under your skin and become embedded in your brain after a few listens, which is how most of the music on pop radio works anyway. So if radio plays it every five minutes, Carmen's single may become bigger than Tamar Braxton's Love & War single.

Carmen did say as soon as she heads back to LA she would begin work on her second album in 20 years. I'm just curious at to who are the producers she will be working with and why at 40 us she trying to get back into music again? I guess if J Lo still feels she's got that youthful spirit by making dance records, anyone can pretty much do it at this point.

Anyways check out her performance below and if you like what you hear, you can purchase the single on iTunes.
