WATCH: SIX MINUTE GORY OPENING SEQUENCE TO THE COLLECTION

Last year for the first time I happened to catch this awesome 2009 horror movie on cable called The Collector. It was about an ex-con (Josh Stewart) who is so desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife, he plots a heist at his new employer's country home. What he doesn't realize is that a second criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps. It's a great movie to watch all cuddles up at home with your boo or a few horror fans, so catch it when you can.

I had heard of the film when it came out in theaters, but didn't think it did well because there wasn't a lot of buzz around it like the Saw films or Paranormal Activity.

Today the sequel called The Collection hits theaters, and to give the movie some much-needed buzz, the gory 6-minute opening sequence has been unleashed online. I thought this movie should have been released around Halloween, but as long as the opening gets people interested in heading to the theater instead of seeing Twilight for the eight-millionth time it's all good in my book.
