Earlier this week Ke$ha showed these dime store divas and her harshest critics that she's not some fluke when she tore the roof off of Australia's X Factor. Now the pop trash diva has unleashed the music video for her catchy new single and it does not disappoint.
The video kicks off when a hearse pulls up at some abandoned church in Mexico and her dancers carry the singer out before removing her black veil, revealing a gothic hooker outfit. Soon after the video gives you a church orgy with her dancers making out with each other, a series of flashing symbols (some would say they are part of the illuminati) and lights and colors that would definitely send someone into an epileptic seizure. I just wish they would have went a little further with the campiness of the video instead of spending too much time on Ke$ha look like she actually dipped herself in Purel.
While the song is about doing it up big and leaving a beautiful young corpse, I love the fact that Ke$ha took something as dark as Die Young and made it a fun, glittery party jam with visuals to match. If the Mayan calendar is right and the world is coming to an end next month, I say this is the song and video I want playing on a loop on my flat screen. Also if people are looking for the right person for Madonna to pass her pop tourch to, I say Ke$ha is your girl.
