Here is your first look at the trailer for the upcoming film Welcome To New York, which stars Sean Paul Lockhart (better known to many gay porn afficionados as the former Brent Corrigan). You should also check him out in the Chillerama short film I Was A Teenage Werebear where she spends a good chunk of the movie in a jock strap. Also rounding out the cast are Casper Andreas, Ashleigh Murray, Nick Page/Lauren Ordair, Megan Kane, Matthew Watson, Alex Ringler, Victor Cruz, Shacottha Fields and New York drag diva Sherry Vine as Dr. Kitty Rosenblatt.
The film is about the experiences of a series of newbie New Yorkers who, while coming to terms with big-city life, go to Rosenblatt, a psychiatrist, for some advice.
“This film epitomizes what life is like in the Big Apple,” says Steven Tylor O’Connor, who wrote, produced and directed the film. “Whether it’s being harassed at a bus stop by some crazy person, being mistaken for a prostitute by your hook up or just plain dating crazies, we all have unique first experiences here. We take a comedic look at these experiences and give you some pretty witty advice about how to deal with it all, thanks to our own Dr. Kitty Rosenblatt (Sherry Vine).”
If you are interested in seeing this film, “Welcome to New York” will have it's premiere this Saturday, November 17, at 11 a.m. at the Big Apple Film Festival at Tribeca Cinemas.
