With the current superhero trend in Hollywood overload and mostly geared towards the younger demographic, have you ever wondered what it would be like to see some superheroes in a horror-movie setting? If it's crossed your mind to see a character like Catwoman or Spider Man try to get through Saw-like traps, the following movie may be just for you.
All Superheroes Must Die (formerly knows as VS), which is described as Kick-Ass meets Saw is about four masked avengers – Charge (Jason Trost - who also wrote and directed the film), Cutthroat (Lucas Till), The Wall (Lee Valmassy) and Shadow (Sophie Merkley) - who find themselves stripped of their powers by their arch-nemesis (James Remar), whom they defeated years earlier...or so they thought. When the sinister mastermind puts the heroes through a series of brutal challenges that are virtually impossible to overcome, they must battle the clock – and even each other – in a race to stop a deadly countdown that could mean total destruction. Will the superheroes prevail, or will they be forced to meet their demise as mere human beings?
Definitely an awesome idea I wish I would have thought of first, and if you are interested in checking out All Superheroes Must Die, it premieres on VOD January 1, 2013 and will soar across the big screen in limited theatrical engagements starting January 4, 2013.
