After Teresa Giudice's unhinged antics and her husband's alleged cheaterization almost drove me to drink during most of the Real Housewives of New Jersey's rollercoaster fourth season, it looks like Andy Cohen and some of the franchise's producers are looking to shake things up.
Bravo doesn't usually confirm who is joining their housewives franchises until they start showing ads on their channel, but numerous sites are reporting that Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile have been fired from the show and that producers are looking to add some friends for Teresa to have on the show, because if you watched last season then you know it was Teresa vs. the entire cast.
The new ladies alleged to be joining team Teresa are real estate agent Noelle Brescia (who is close to Kim D.), Gia Casey (who is married to The Breakfast Club morning jock DJ Envy) and Priscilla DiStasio (shown above). DiStasio is Teresa's best friend and hairdresser so you know Priscilla will be Teresa's "yes ma'am" and will be spilling the tea about the other girls while she tries to work magic on Teresa's unmanageable hairline.
But the real icing on the cake comes from InTouch Weekly, who is reporting that Danielle Staub is returning to the show. Danielle's name was thrown around a few times last season and during the reunion when Teresa accused Melissa of conspiring against her through Danielle on Twitter after Teresa and Danielle almost came to blows during the season 2 reunion.
All I know is since Teresa, who isn't the brightest bulb in the lamp showed her true colors and sheer jealousy whenever sister-in-law Melissa or cousin Kathy tried to benefit from the show's fame, I wonder how long will it take Teresa to show her true colors towards her friends now that they are coming on the show? Sure she will look at it as her friends are joining the show so she will have some much-needed back-up, but when they start getting bookings and using their TV fame to make endoursement deals will Teresa treat them like she treated all the other ladies last season? As for Caroline and Kathey I think it's a great choice that Andy "allegedly" got rid of Kathy and Caroline because truthfully speaking they didn't really bring much to the show. I loved Caroline's honest, say-it-like-you-mean-it den mother approach but at this point her oersonae doesn't really work for the franchise anymore. I couldn't stand Teresa since season 3 and I wish Andy would have gotten rid of her, but I understand she brings exactly what Bravo producers want out of their reality stars ---- drama! Either way I'm definitely looking forward to what season 5 will bring and I'm looking forward to seeing Danielle back on the show.
