Since he has been the big breakout star of 2012 (three of his movies have grossed over $100 million), it should not come as a shocker that Channing Tatum has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive.
Channing will join the long list of male celebrities that have made the cover, such as Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Ryan Reynolds, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson, Johnny Depp, Bradley Cooper (last year's winner), Hugh Jackman and his Magic Mike co-star Matthew McConaughey. My only bitch about this list is why have we only had one black person as People's Sexiest Man Alive (Denzel Washington back in 1996)? To me Channing has exotic features, a great body and ass, but I don't get all hot and bothered over him. Personally I would rather see Ryan Gosling or Idris Elba on the cover.
Gossip Cop, who broke the story, reached out to People for comment, and this is what they said, “We never comment on who the Sexiest Man Alive is until the issue is revealed.”
