It seems like forever since we've gotten some new music from Robyn. After all, she did blow up big after releasing her three-part Body Talk album and toured the world for two years straight by herself, as well as the opening acts for Katy Perry and Coldplay. Now after retreating from the spotlight, Robyn has come out of hibernation to hint at some new music.
Robyn recently spoke to BBC that she's finally ready to head back into the studio to work on some new music, and while some people are able to write on the road and rush out a new record while still touring in support of their last album, the Swedish sensation says traveling only distracts her from working on other obligations.
“I’ve been trying to write new stuff but as soon as another tour comes up, my ideas go out of my head. I start thinking about rehearsals instead,” she told the BBC. “I’m coming off the road so I can release something quicker.” Well she better hurry up before Miley Cyrus finds a way to steal any more of her look and musical style for her next album.
