P!NK SOARS BACK TO THE TOP OF THE CHARTS AFTER AMA PERFORMANCE

After P!nk left the children (and most of her pop peers) GAGGING with her heart-wrenching performance of Try at the American Music Awards last Sunday, her performance helped get her latest album The Truth About Love back to the top of the charts.

Try, which is also her current single is sitting pretty at #10 on iTunes. As a hardcore P!nk fan I bought the album the day it came out, and while the music on the album isn't that much of a stretch in growth from the rock/pop hits P!nk has released since Misundaztood, there are standouts on the album that you all need to get into, such as Are We All We Are, Just Give Me A Reason, True Love (feat. Lily Allen), Walk Of Shame, Here Comes The Weekend (feat. Eminem) and my absolute favorite -- The Great Escape.

While we had bigger money-making label slaves like Usher, Nicki Garbaj, Justin Bieber, and too many other overrated dime store divas to mention giving half-assed performances, P!nk is and always will be the real deal. Yes she basically did her music video for a live audience, but at least she remained on key throughout her performance, unlike a certain queen that opened the show.

Check out her performance of Try at the AMA's as well as some hot pics of her dance partner, Broadway actor-dancer Colt Prattes below...
