LADY GAGA RETEAMS WITH REDONE ON ARTPOP

We haven't heard much from Lady Gaga as of late, because she's been touring her latest album and putting the finishing touches on her POPTART album. Since the songs on Born This Way were disappointing in comparison to the hits on The Fame, word on the street is that Gaga has gone back to her pop crossover roots and is back working with RedOne, a producer who gave her some of her biggest hits such as Just Dance, Paparazzi, Poker Face, and Bad Romance, to name a few.

Here is what the Swedish-Moroccan megaproducer told MTV News on rekindling the magic with Gaga:

“We couldn’t get together in the studio,” he said, “but we’ve been sending ideas back and forth, and it’s very focused on writing really good songs and, of course, with the vibe of different sounds, different kinds of productions.”

RedOne didn't go into details on what the music will sound like, but he did say: “It’s all about good songs. You can go crazy as you want sonically, which is always what I try to do… Number one is to make a dance song that is like, ‘Oh my God! My intent is the same thing: make history. If we don’t feel like this is part of history again, we’re not going to do it, but we’re enjoying [the process]. We love doing music, so it will be interesting to see what’s going to happen.”

I should say that Gaga and the people she collaborates with need to watch what they say in regards to setting the bar high on her music, because history was promised with Born This Way and that album was a unfocused mess. At least she has better sense to reunite with RedOne because he gave her some of her best music on The Fame. Instead of setting bars and trying to make history, just make some good, fun music. The legends didn't go around talking about making history. History is made unintentionally. As for RedOne I hope he does have some tricks up his sleeve because ever since Lady Gaga put him on the mainstream map he has worked with every pop act in the game and lately all his beats are starting to sound alike.
