GREEN DAY TO RELEASE QUATRO DOCUMENTARY

While singer Billie Joe Armstrong is still getting himself together in rehab and Green Day's label continue to release their three-part album trilogy (Uno, Dos and Tres) within months of each other, the longtime punk band also plan to release a brand new documentary called Quatro for their fans to see. The documentary will give insight into the making of all three albums as well as behind-the-scenes concert footage from their promo tour. Quatro will air November 28 on VH1, followed by a November 30 airing on MTV2. The full documentary will be released for fans to purchase in 2013. While I like the idea of releasing a three-part album (a la Robyn with her Body Talk trilogy), based on the songs I've heard the albums are uneven and may have been a better idea if it was a full album with three different sections.
