AURAL ORGASM: LUDACRIS Feat. USHER & DAVID GUETTA - REST OF MY LIFE
While we are still waiting for the music video for Representin' with Kelly Rowland to premiere, Ludacris is the latest rapper to jump on the dance music trend with a new track called Rest of My Life, featuring Usher on vocals and production by David Guetta. While I applaud Luda's effort to try something new, as a hardcore fan of dance music the track doesn't do anything for me because it sounds like everything else on the radio. Don't get me wrong the song is catchy as hell and will definitely get you fist pumping in the club after you've had a couple of drinks, but Usher is singing like he's bored with the whole dance craze (but is only jumping on it because it's the "it" sound right now) and it's understandable why his latest album is a flop. David Guetta at this point needs to hang it up as a producer and do what he does best - jump up and down behind the decks and pretend he's mixing premixed tracks.
Ludaversal will be out in early 2013, but if you like the track you can purchase it on iTunes tomorrow.
