STACEY DASH DEFENDS HER SUPPORT FOR MITT ROMNEY
Earlier in the week unemployed actress Stacey Dash shocked a lot of people, after she tweeted her support for Presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Shortly after she was hit with a series of hate tweets, some even going as far as calling her a runaway slave.
Dash, who voted for President Obama in the last election appeared on Piers Morgan last night to defend her reason for voting for the Republican nominee:
Because of the state of the country and I want the next four years to be different. I believe him. I watched him for awhile and then when I watched him, the Governer and his wife on ‘Meet The Press’. They spoke to me and they seemed authentic and genuine about what they said about this country and the need for us to be united and move forward…and really bring up our economy and make money.
No I'm not one to go HAM on someone who has an opposing view than myself, but I don't understand how you can be easily manipulated by the lies Mitt Romney is telling. He's changed his opinions so many times during his campaign I have no idea who the real Mitt is anymore (or if I ever knew). Expecting every black person to vote for Obama because of the color of his skin is ridiculous, especially since I have yet to see Omama come out specifically for black organizations. I understand he can't truly embrace his blackness because it will piss off those over at Fox news who love to pull the "angry black man" card whenever he slightly raises his voice, but if people of color truly want change, they need to get like the women's and gay organizations and demand the same attention. So if Mitt becomes president and tries to get rid of organizations that help issues that are dear to your heart, you can't get mad because he is who you voted for.
