SCISSOR SISTERS ANNOUNCE THEY ARE TAKING A BREAK

The colorful quartet have been touring heavily in support of their new album Magic Hour, and even though they are successful overseas, it seems that while Let's Have A Kiki did give them some crossover success in the U.S., the same can't be said for their album. Now the band has announced that they are taking a "hiatus."

PopJustice is reporting that last night at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, singer Jake Shears announced on stage that, “This will be the last time we will play in London for quite some time.” Ana Matronic soon added that their UK fans were “the ones who got us first – and always get us best.” Then at an after-party, Shears also reportedly said, “Don’t you worry – this isn’t the last you’ve heard of us.” Maybe it's better that they take a break and reenergize, because they've been touring extensively since their debut album and once they've recharged their batteries they can come back to doing what they do best.
