Word on the street is that Madonna's eldest daughter Lourdes is ready to leave the nest and spend the rest of her teens with her father, actor/fitness trainer Carlos Leon and wants to pay for her own schooling when she heads off to college. While Madonna has incorporated her other children into her tour (Rocco has been dancing with her on stage, and David spins some records with the house DJ from time to time), Lola has revealed how she spent her summer vacation and why you never saw her performing on stage with her mom like we did on the Sticky & Sweet tour:
Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes. Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it!
To be able to be a part of such an inspiring production was one of my best summers so far
While I could never imagine what it would be like to be a child of a megastar and have to constantly live in the spotlight, I love the fact that Madonna's children have learned the value of hard work and know that just because your parent(s) have a shitload of money doesn't mean you can go and spend their money on ridiculous things. Lola has grown up to be quite a beautiful young lady with a good head on her shoulders. I just don't understand the no TV part. If I couldn't watch The Walking Dead and Honey Boo Boo I would lose my mind! I'm just glad that for once there's actually a rich kid out there that knows that you don't need a sex tape to get attention.
