Put It Down with Chris Brown may have been a misstep in regards of a single release (it did well on the R&B charts, but failed to get the party started on the mainstream Top 100 Billboard charts), but don't count out Brandy's Two Eleven album just yet. The singer has unleashed a brand new track off her new album called Let Me Go, which was produced by Bangladesh and contains a sample by Swedish singer Lykke Li. Let Me Go does have some similarities to Put It Down, but I think it's a much better song. I love when brandy experiments with her voice and different sounds, but I'm starting to think her deep, raspy vocals work best when heard on mid-tempo and slow R&B songs such as No Such Thing As Too Late and Can You Hear Me Now. Sidebar: I wonder why she didn't include It All Belongs To Me on her album? Hopefully she's not feuding with Monica again.
Two Eleven, which features collabos with Frank Ocean, Brown, Sevyn, Sean Garrett, The Bizness, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, and Mario Winans, will be in stores tomorrow.
