As we get a little bit closer to the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore, reality star Vinny Guadagnino was asked by TMZ while out in LA if he thinks some of his co-stars will be able to survive on their own once the series ends.
Vinny said he believes that only the ones with a BRAIN will succeed in TV. The Jersey Shore castmate was also asked his thoughts on MTV getting rid of the popular reality show.
"They didn't get rid of it ... they just want us to go out on top," Vinny told us ... adding, "Best show in MTV history."
While he didn't mention any names of which castmates he believes will not succeed with their own spin-offs, he did say, "I don't know about ALL of us ... but I think whoever has imagination and talent will make it."
I have had this conversation so many times I can't even keep count. I truly believe that the only one who will be able to sustain any kind of success will be Pauly D., because before he came on the show he was a DJ. Now that the show has made him insanely popular, he can use the JS brand to continue making money in the clubs, as well as through his side business ventures with 50 Cent. I would suggest he not do another season of his realtiy show The Pauly D Project because it was absolutely unwatchable. JWOWW is not interesting unless she's playing sidekick to Snooki, who's brand may be in trouble now that she has to be a full time mom and less of the trainwreck that made her famous. Mike "The Situation" has come across like a dick and desperate for attention by telling everyone in the house repeatedly that he slept with Snooki while she was in a relationship with Jionni, and I don't think he has the personality to make people interested in him as a solo reality star. Vinny is trying to forge an acting career (he was last seen playing a reporter in the Syfy movie Jersey Shore Shark Attack). And throw some crickets on Deena, Sammi and Ronny. They come off more like background extras than reality stars.
