VIDEO: GREEN DAY - KILL THE DJ
It seems that Green Day have taken an issue with the whole DJ movement that has taken over the mainstream music industry as of late in the latest video for their single Kill The DJ. The song is available on their upcoming three-part album ¡Uno! Personally I wish the music industry would catch up with the rest of the world and realize that people listen to different styles of music daily, and not everyone needs to jump on the dance music bandwagon just because it's currently popular and it took 30 years for the U.S. to catch up with the rest of the world. I love my rock music as much as I love my dance music and think there is room for everyone. I am afraid that if the worst aspects od dance music continues to become popular (like mediocre rappers rhyming over a loud, monotonous David Guetta/Afrojack beat) then we are going to have a history-repeating death to disco riot!
