November must be Rihanna's favorite time of the month, because it seems to be the only time she's always comfortable releasing a new album (her four previous albums were released every November). We already know that she plans to kick off her next tour in Spring, 2013, and we know she's been putting down vocals for the follow-up to Talk That Talk. Well now comes word that her new album will drop just before the holidays.
Since mainstream music is basically sucking on the charts right now (especially since there is a lack of diversity on the charts as a whole), Def Jam France tweeted (but then removed) the news that RiRi will release her seventh album in two months and the album's first single will drop on Monday, September 17.
As long as it's as hot as We Found Love and there is some growth on the record (and I don't have to hear shitty music from Nicki Garbaj, Flo Rida, J Lo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber and Pitbull, I'm good), I am so there. You can't deny that RiRi is great at choosing singles but I personally wish she would take a damn break. Clearly she is a studio artist and needs to make as much money as possible, but if you believe in your artistry you wouldn't be afraid to take a damn break. Even Beyonce knows when to fall the fuck back. I just want her to put out a record that is as memorable as Rated R (her best album in my opinion) and not throw sonething together like she did with Talk That Talk.
