Remember back in 1999 when Puff Daddy (which was his name at the time) was involved in a club shooting around the time he was dating J Lo and Shyne wound up going to jail for almost 10 years? Well Diddy may bhave been cleared of all charges, but it looks like his money definitely kept his ass from doing some jail time.
According to W.E.N.N., the hip hop mogul paid $850,000 out of his own pocket to settle his legal battle with victims of the club shooting. Most of the money went to Natania Reuben, a bystander who suffered severe facial injuries. According to the New York Daily News she received $1.8 million of a $2 million lawsuit. The reason all of Diddy's confidential info is coming out now because in recent court documents filed in NYC the insurance company that settled the lawsuit has now gone bankrupt.
