Diamonds are most definitely a girl's best friend, because Rihanna has unleashed the official first single from her upcoming seventh album.
The song was written by Australian singer/songwriter Sia and produced by Stargate and Benny Blanco, and while I'm sure people were expecting a hard-hitting dance track like We Found Love or Where Have You Been, or something edgy like Cockiness, what I love about Diamonds and Rihanna is that she is one of the few mainstream chicks who is willing to take musical risks with every album she releases. I'll even go on the record to say this is the best she's sounded vocally.
