After the unfortunate drama that came about yesterday when a TV station in Utah banned Ryan Murphy's new gay series The New Normal before it's September 11th premiere, NBC has opted to give curious fans a sneak peek at the full first episode. Justin Bartha (The Hangover) and Andrew Rannells (Book of Mormon, Girls) star as a gay couple trying to have a child through a surrogate. Ellen Barkin and NeNe Leakes also star.
I thought the show had some pretty funny moments (Ellen Barkin's character is my favorite), and has the potential to last as long a Ryan's other series Glee, but check out the show below and see if you think KSL-TV is justified in their banning of a show they most likely haven't seen.
