MIKE FUREY ANNOUNCES NEW DANGEROUS MUSE EP

So apparently after years of patiently waiting for Dangerous Muse to drop their debut album, it looks like lead singer Mike Furey is going at it solo. Yes that means he is still part of Dangerous Muse, but now he's all by himself and plans to release a new untitled EP that will feature tracks produced by BLOODSHY & AVANT (Britney Spears, Madonna), recording artist ESTHERO (making her production debut), JOSH HARRIS (The Killers, Seal, Dangerous Muse), TED OTTAVIANO (Book Of Love, Dangerous Muse), and DAVID SISKOVIC (Justin Timberlake, Cut Copy, Gwen Stefani, Goldfrapp).

I remember they were working on this album since dropping I Want It All two years ago and I thought we were on the right track, but after all the label drama and constant push backs, I started to lose faith in the group I was looking at to becoming this generation's Depeche Mode.

Fortunately as we continue to patiently wait for the EP to drop, DM has released two new tracks called "Mr. Strangelove" and "Homewrecker" which give us that signature goth electro feel but I feel both songs are still a work in progress. I gravitated strongly towards Homewrecker, and I still have faith in Mike finally getting out of the music industry drama and finally giving his faithful fans exactly what they want - a quality album with some memorable electro synth pop.

Take a listen to Mr. Strangelove and Homewrecker below as well as eight tracks I lifted from DM' website below...
