LADY GAGA TALKS TO FANS ABOUT MADONNA BORN THIS WAY DISS & BODY ISSUES
Besides all the drama surrounding the singer for hypocritically wearing fur, Lady Gaga took to her site Littlemonsters.com to address all the shit she's gone through within the past year, from her so-called friends taking advantage of her, constant fights with her label over single choices (if she would have listened to them maybe the single choices on Born This Way wouldn't have been disasterous), directors who have a false idea of who she is (just music video directors?), body image issues, and without mentioning her name, Madonna's constant nagging about how Born This Way is too similar to Express Yourself.
Read her letter to her Little Monsters below...
Today is a really happy day for me. The past year was a challenge, and I’m so happy to have my spirit back. I felt in chains at times. Whether is be the record label disagreeing with me on single choices, or directors who could only create an idea of “gaga” or what i’ve “done before” and not able to move forward, and there was also of course the incessant dragging of the most important single of my career in dead-beaten-horse-mud. Then there were all the personal moments. Betrayed by lifelong friends, mentors I’ve had for years suddenly taking advantage of me, and a massive struggles with my body image.
I’ve grown and left most of these things behind, the monsters of fame are very real. But I wanted to thank you for baring with me a little bit. Today’s film is what happens when there is love and respect amongst creatives, teams, management. This project was run solely by the HAUS OF GAGA, ATOM FACTORY, AND STEVEN KLEIN’S fantastic team. I am feeling blessed to have removed those from my life driven by money and luxury, its all about the art of it. I feel free today.
Thank you for always being there for me monsters.
I love you.

The film she's talking about is the commercial for her new Fame fragrance but I'm sorry I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who refuses to scold her fans whenever they threaten people's lives and bully people who talk shit about their "Mother Monster" but when people pick on her she wants to play the victim. I'm sorry but when you are a privileged rich kid from the Upper East Side who had her daddy paying her bills while she worked on her music and did drugs all day I can't garner any sympathy for. Also maybe if she would admit like every other pop star after Madonna (like Xtina, Britney, Pink, Kylie, Rihanna, etc.) that the Queen of Pop is a huge influence on her music and aesthetic instead of pretending that she invented pop music, and that Born This Way does in face musically resemble Express Yourself, people would cut her some slack. But at the end of the say she's nothing more than a fraud and all you have to do to call her out on it everytime is do your research on Google or YouTube.
Check out the trailer for Fame, which I have to admit is her best set of visuals since Bad Romance below...
