JENNIFER LOPEZ COVERS SELENA AT DANCE AGAIN CONCERT
It's no big secret that if Jennifer Lopez didn't play Selena back in 1997 that the lightbulb idea would have never come about for her to launch a music career of her own. So it should be fitting that she would perform a cover of one of the late Tejano singer's classics during her Dance Again tour stop at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. J.Lo performed Selena's 1994 single “No Me Queda Mas” and got the crowd to sing along with her.
I was actually surprised how she managed to stay on key throughout (maybe her voice is better suited for Spanish-language music) and the crowd roared with cheers. I must say I know I give her alot of shit for other things she does that annoys me, but it was great to see J Lo pay homage to the Mexican singer that solidified her as a breakout actress.
