The blogs went into overdrive over the weekend after Chad (Ochocinco) Johnson was arrested for domestic assault against his wife Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada.
Allegedly, the argument between Johnson and his wife started in their vehicle when they were returning from dinner. Lozada apparently found a receipt for a box of condoms, and as they argued, Lozada told police that Johnson head-butted her, causing a laceration that needed to be treated. Johnson told police they accidently knocked heads.
“It gets pretty heated,” Davie police captain Dale Engle told the South Florida Sun Sentinel. “By the time they get home here in Davie, it’s pretty heated. She alleges he leaned over and head butted her. He says she leaned towards him and that they butted heads. Needless to say she has a good laceration on her forehead.”
Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said after a meeting with the wide-receiver, they decided to kick him to the curb. Ochocinco has been released on $2500 bond and ordered to stay away from his wife, who he has been married to for over a month until it is all resolved. I should also point out that this is Ochocinco's first arrest which kind of makes you think Evelyn has a way of bringing out the whoop ass in people.

I already know their upcoming disasterous reality show Chad & Ev is alread in the can, so here's hoping that this was all captured for the Basketball Wives cameras. I know it sounds shady to think like a ratings-hungry producer, but donkeys like Evelyn know what they are getting themselves into when they sign up with dogs like Chad. She knew of his reputation with having lots of female friends and has even questioned his fidelity a few times on the show. Sorry but I have no sympathy for gold diggers and it's apparent that the one who "ain't about this life" is her. So since Chad is currently unemployed, he needs to divorce Evelyn and call VH1 to star in one of those dating shows a la Flavor Of Love. I'll even give you a title: Everybody Loves Chad.

Eric's looking to start some shit on Twitter as usual, but I am laughing at the fact that Chad and Evelyn are both surprisingly quiet in the Twitterverse, especially when they love spilling every ounce of their tea on the popular website.
UPDATE #999,999,999.99: VH1 has yanked their reality show from their fall line-up.
Says a VH1 spokesperson: Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.
Finally the network manages to draw the line somewhere.
