At this point the album is going to wind up coming out on 2/11/2013. After getting her swag back earlier this week with the long-awaited release of her music video for Put It Down, I was really looking forward to the official October release date of her highly-anticipated comeback album Two Eleven. Now comes word that Miss Norwood is releasing her new album on October 16th instead of October 2nd.
I'm thinking the reason for the push back is because I don't think Put It Down is doing as well as her team has hoped on the charts, but I've got my fingers crossed that the video elevates people to pay attention to the song more, because I'll be honest while I love me some Brandy, the new single wasn't really getting me bodied.
I say at this point release another hot single that will really let folks know that Brandy is back and she ain't playing. She is the first black woman to become a triple threat (singer/dancer/actress) and deserves her mark on pop culture. I just hope the music matches her legacy.
Two Eleven will feature production from Timbaland, Bangladesh, Mario Winans, Danja, Harmony, and Noah '40' Shebib. The album will also features songs written by Chris Brown, Sean Garrett, Rico Love, Ester Dean, and Frank Ocean.
As I said before I've got my fingers crossed that Two Eleven will spark a hit before it's October release otherwise we'll definitely be looking at this album coming out next year.
