BIG SHAKE-UPS COMING TO THE VOICE
When The Voice returns for their third season next month, prepare yourself for some big changes amongst the judges/coaches.
Executive producer Mark Burnett revealed yesterday that one of the new twists added to the show will allow the coaches to "steal" contestants from each other during the show's "battle rounds."
Burnett, who was at a news conference in Malibu, California with coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and host Carson Daly also revealed that the show will also add a new "knockout round" to slice the number of contestants on each coach's team.
Burnett also says that while the current coaches have their "chairs for life," substitutes may be added to the show in the near future to compensate for the current four's busy music schedules.
The Voice premieres on September 10 on NBC.
