Azealia Banks has been making lots of noise as of late, releasing the Fantasea mixtape, the four-track EP 1999, getting into a few beefs with just about every big name rapper, and even got her Dazed & Confused magazine cover banned in a few countries. Now comes word that her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, which was originally supposed to come out next month, has been pushed back until next year.
“Broke With Expensive Taste will be out first quarter of 2013 on Feb 12,” she tweeted. “I have ALOT of REALLY excitin ish happening in btwn! it will ALL make sense as these things start to unravel. The #KUNTBRIGADE will b proud!”
Hopefully it will be the music unraveling in a good way and not her mental state, which has been getting her into a lot of trouble lately. I am a big fan of hers and it's been a while since I've been excited about a female rapper so keep it together girl I need you to show these bitches you have the chops to be the next big female MC.
