Drag sensation Raja, who you may all remember as the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race season 3 has followed up her debut single Diamond Crowned Queen with a new track called Sublime, which was produced by electro pop singer, songwriter, producer and my dear friend SIRPAUL.
Here's what Raja had to say about working with SIRPAUL: “I am constantly amazed at the powers of technology and social networking. I met Sir Paul via Twitter and the magic was immediate. Paul loves music as much as I do, his passion is infectious and inspiring.”
And here is what SIRPAUL had to say about collaborating with Raja. “From the moment I saw Raja I knew she would win RuPaul’s Drag Race. When we met and she asked me to produce her next single, I just knew we would create something magical together.”
I love the music video for Diamond Crowned Queen and this song has a sensualness to it that's different, and I love the fact that Raja is experimenting with different genres of music. I'm actually looking forward to what Raja comes up with for the music video concept (I'm imagining a dark, Justify My Love-esque vibe with some avant-garde costumes).
