AURAL ORGASM: BLAKE McGRATH - MOTION PICTURE

Blake McGrath, who has danced for everyone from Janet Jackson to Britney Spears and has also appeared on reality shows such as a season 1 contestent on So You Think You Can Dance and a judge for a few seasons on the Canadian affiliate as well as on the short-lived JLo-produced reality show Dance Life has unleashed the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album called Motion Picture. I've always thought Blake was cute and a great dancer, but the thing that has always turned me off from him was his arrogant attitude.

It's no secret that the dance community is very small and a little humility goes a long way, but here's hoping with the release of his new album he's stopped flip-flopping when it comes to which team he bats for (I personally think he's gayer than Travis Wall and SYTYCD season 1 winner Nick Lazzarini combined) an will finally bask in his truth because no one will support an artist who can't truly be themselves. I actually liked his dance tracks from his debut album, and I think he needs to take more of a Britney/Janet/JLo approach to his music. Don't get me wrong I'm sure there will be lots of R.Kelly-esque bumping and grinding in the music video, but leave the slower stuff to real belters like Xtina and Mariah.

Blake's sophomore album Love Revolution will be out on November 21.
