While most would think that the success of shows like American Idol was the reason so many mainstream singers are jumping on the music competition bandwagon, it was actually the success of The Voice (a show that hired four relevant celebrities to judge the singing show) that people such as Mariah Carey and Britney Spears felt comfortable enough to jump on the reality TV bandwagon. I would have added J Lo to the list, but like Paula Abdul two years ago her career was in the shitter before she joined Idol.
Anyways, Xtina, who is putting the finishing touches on her new album and will be back in the judges chair for the third season of The Voice in September gave her PC thoughts on Mimi and Britbot joining American Idol and The X Factor, respectively.
