Two weeks ago Wendy Williams announced on her talk show that she would be teaming up with Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones to launch a few new TV shows and movie projects for the big and small screen. Well word on the street is that their first project will be adapting Star Jones' best-selling book Satan's Sisters to the small screen. Satan's Sisters tells the story about the cut-throat world of daytime TV and the scandalous behind-the-scenes secrets.
The film sounds like the perfect fit for the VH1 audience, but with Star's recent comments about the highly-rated reality series Basketball Wives, I'm starting to think Lifetime would be a better home for the movie.
Star also didn't mince words when she went in on Anderson Cooper and Oprah.
Here's what she said about Anderson coming out of the closet as a gay man: “He’s a daytime talk show host and when the rating slip in daytime, the hosts tend to tell you lots of things about them.”
And her thoughts on Lady O: “I remember Oprah said she smoked crack, Oprah said she was pregnant at 14 and considered suicide. There times when you generate information for ratings.”
While I love the fact that Star says it like she means it, I have to call her out on this one. Remember, it wasn't that long ago when you were on The View and you had your co-hosts go along with your weight loss lie that you lost all that weight just from pilates, and how you went on the show and had all them sponsors endoursing your fake wedding to Al You Doin. If you're going to call Anderson out on using his sexuality to boost ratings, then you need to take responsibility for your own shit as well.
