I may not talk about it much on this blog, but I am a big fan of politics. When I'm not getting my doseage of Hot Topics and politics from people like Rachel Maddow, Bill Maher and The View, I love watching films and shows with social commentary or political undertones.
One of the shows I am really looking forward to seeing is the new USA limited-run series Political Animals. Not only because of Sigourney Weaver's involvement, but because I love a little drama and scandal with my shows (not the ABC series which I found quite boring).
Actor Sebastian Stan (Once Upon A Time's Mad Hatter) plays Thomas Hammond, the openly gay son of a former President and First Lady (played by Weaver) who is running for President. In the scene scene that is currently online, Thomas is a bit horny and arranges for a trick to come by for a little bump and Grindr. Once the two finally meet face to face, it gets quite juicy from there and said trick understands why Thomas doesn't send him a face pic.
After watching the scene, all I have to say is that if sex scenes between two hot guys like this existed more often on TV, I would never leave my house (I'm kidding on the last part. How will I ever get laid if I don't get out?). Thank the lord for basic cable, because the four major networks would never take it there with their same-sex frollicking (except for The L.A. Complex, a Canadian import that really goes there with it's closeted rapper character and the producer he's messing with).
The 90 minute season premiere airs on Sunday, July 16th at 10 pm on USA.
