With the rise of LGBT rights in America and the further we get to equal acknowledgement, I have constantly complained over the lack of actual gay movies that are being made by the mainstream film industry (we haven't had one since Brokeback Mountain). I have also become quite frustrated by the long list of shitty independent ones where they're loaded with sex but lack an actual plot, good writing and decent acting. The last good indie gay film I saw was Leave It On The Floor, and now it looks like I can add another one to my list of must-see movies.
Rising gay indie writer/director/actor/producer Matt Riddlehover, who has directed must-see films like To A Tee and Watch Out, wrote, directed and stars in a new moive called Scenes From A Gay Marriage, about a recently single man (Riddlehoover) who seeks entertainment through the sexual high jinks of his upstairs neighbors. The film stars reality star Jared Allman (Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys: Nashville), Thashana McQuiston, Malachi Taylor, Cliff Burr, Devin Walls & Domiziano Arcangeli and newcomer Carson Nicely.
