With successful past scripted shows such as Queer As Folk and Noah's Arc (not to mention a few hit scripted web shows like The Out NYC and Anacostia), it was only a matter of time before the Bear community jumped on board with a series of their own.
In the new web series Where The Bears Are, It follows three gay bear roommates in LA, who play a game of whodunit after they discover a dead party guest in their bathtub. With so many shows focusing on only the sexual aspect and shallowness of gay culture, it's quite nice to see another genre getting some shine, because I have a love for mysteries. So if you like shows such as The Golden Girls with a dash of Murder She Wrote, this is definitely the show for you.
Where The Bears Are, which consists of 26 four-minute episodes, kicks off online August 1. Check out the trailer below...
