TRAILER TRASH: THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS

I watched four hours of Comic Con footage on G4 last week, and I forgot to add this trailer. I have always been a fan of movies by the Shaw Brothers, and I love the fact that rapper, producer, and actor RZA, who stars, directed and co-wrote the script with Eli Roth tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all. Since his arrival in China's Jungle Village, the town's blacksmith (RZA) has been forced by radical tribal factions to create elaborate tools of destruction. When the clans' brewing war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. As he fights alongside iconic heroes and against soulless villains, one man must harness this power to become savior of his adopted people.

Co-produced by Quentin Tarantino and paying homage to the legendary Shaw Brothers Kung Fu movies as well as sci fi and superhero movies, the action film stars Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu, Pam Grier, wrestler turned MMA fighter Dave Bautista, Rick Yune, and Yoyao Hsueh. The Man With The Iron Fists will be in theaters this November.

I am a huge fan of RZA's since his days with Wu Tang and I love the fact that with all the nonsense certain other black directors are giving us there's an actual alternative that I can get behind and go see.
