Earlier Alexa Vega released a photo on her Instagram page of her character in the upcoming action sequel, Machete Kills. Now director Robert Rodriguez has revealed that singer Lady Gaga will appear in the film as well, playing a character called La Chameleón.
"I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills," Rodriguez tweeted, "she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!"
Tweeted Gaga today: "Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane."
While I can't stand her music, I'm quite interested in how she fares as an actress. I was also thinking by first adding Mel Gibson and now Lady Gaga, either Mr. Rodriguez is desperate for an audience to see his movie, or he's asking for it to flop at the box office. Also why is she wearing fur in the poster if she stated in one of her many contradicting interviews that she's against killing animals? Fake or not stick to your morals.
As I stated earlier, the film stars Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Demian Bichir, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana and Charlie Sheen.
